Equipter Tow-A-Lift
Towable forklift. It tows behind a pickup with no trailer, then works on site in a skid-steer driving mode, run by remote.
What it is
A forklift you tow. In tow mode it follows a pickup with no separate trailer; in work mode it lifts and moves loads across the site, driving skid-steer style on large wheels.
The remote has joystick control and an emergency stop, and the machine sets up on outriggers.
My part
I’ve done design work and project coordination on different aspects of the Tow-A-Lift through its concept, prototype and production phases, and I continue to lead its generation release updates.
Program context
It was available for pre-order by February 2024 and was shown at the International Roofing Expo 2024 in Las Vegas.
Roofing Contractor included it in its 2024 Editor’s Choice roundup of new innovations.
